Pharmacy Grade:
Monoject PreFilled saline and heparin syringes are manufactured in a drug facility. Solutions are formulated on-site and the syringes are terminally sterilized, resulting in a significantly reduced potential for a contaminated syringe.
Sterilization:
PreFilled syringe contamination has occurred in competitive products and has been documented to cause bloodstream infections. All Monoject PreFilled saline and heparin syringes are terminally sterilized to minimize the potential of contamination.
Inspection:
Manufacturing processes can vary among PreFilled syringe manufacturers. Many do not have automated systems for inspection, nor in-house testing. The onsite testing, on-line inspection and quality control system of Monoject PreFilled syringes result in a higher quality product for both clinicians and patients.
