ACTISORB™ Silver Antimicrobial Binding Dressing 220 is an activated charcoal dressing with silver, enclosed in a non-adherent nylon sleeve.  ACTISORB™ Silver 220 traps odor while providing an effective barrier to bacterial penetration, which may reduce infection.
Traps odor:
By eliminating offensive odors, ACTISORB™ Silver 220 helps improve the patient’s quality of life.
Activated charcoal binds bacteria and toxins in the dressing:
Antimicrobial activity within the dressing is proven effective* against 150 microorganisms associated with wound infection.
Kills bacteria:
The silver has been proven to kill bacteria* and participate in the reduction of bioburden in the dressing.
