The Magic Bullet Laxative Suppository contains 10mg of bisacodyl per suppository. Bisacodyl gently stimulates the walls of the bowel to begin peristalsis, the rhythmic motion of the bowel that causes a bowel movement.

Magic Bullet Suppositories work so quickly because they use a different medium to deliver the bisacodyl than most suppositories. Most suppositories use an oil-based medium, such as hydrogenated vegetable oil. With oil-based suppositories, the user must first wait for the oily medium to melt before the rectal wall can absorb the active ingredients.
