The translucent, latex-free gel formula conforms to the wound bed after the dressing has been cut to size. This eliminates drying out, allows the dressing to absorb exudate and lets the caregiver inspect the wound with greater clarity, be it for infection monitoring or dressing changes. Upon application, the dressing delivers a cooling sensation to lessen pain.
Allows for Longer Wear Time
Through its unique construction and advanced formula, each Aquaflo Hydrogel Dressing can be worn for up to seven days, based on the amount of exudate absorbed. During wound healing, this combination results in fewer dressing changes and lessens trauma risks related with removal.
